چکیده

Abstract In a series of previous papers, the detection arcing on GPS, Van Allen Probe, and GEO satellites with Arecibo Observatory Wm. E. Gordon 305 m radiotelescope has been reported elaborated. this paper, characteristics radiofrequency spectra two true are as they were measured Mock spectrometer every 9.6 microseconds, contrasted impulsive RFI (RadioFrequency Interference) events. It is shown that arc in 300–350 MHz range not continuous, but consist number narrow spectral lines. These lines consistent within duration single arcs, change between so when averaged over many appearance continuous spectrum approximated. This behavior replicated laboratory charging-induced vacuum small solar array samples. contrast, (including, limited to lightning strokes) essentially random from one microsecond sampling interval next. Since changes little throughout samples, it cannot be due risetime current, which much less than interval. Furthermore, experiments done at very high time resolution (< 1 ns), there correlation current spectra, indicating even fluctuations each can have do UHF observed.

Propagation Channel Characteristics for Peer-to-Peer Multiple Antenna Systems at 300 MHz

This paper presents results from the first double-directional measurements of the Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) peer-to-peer radio channel in the 300 MHz frequency range. The measurements were performed with vertically polarized circular antenna arrays mounted on cars driving along a route in a semi rural and sub-urban environment. We evaluate the measurements with a high resolution alg...

Characteristics of the structure in the Galactic polarized radio background at 350 MHz

Angular power spectra and structure functions of the Stokes parameters Q and U and polarized intensity P are derived from three sets of radio polarimetric observations. Two of the observed fields have been studied at multiple frequencies, allowing determination of power spectra and structure functions of rotation measure RM as well. The third field extends over a large part of the northern sky,...

A Tuner for the 350 MHz Superconducting CH-Structure

The superconducting CH multi-cell prototype cavity, which has passed a very succesfull power test recently leading to an accelerating gradient of Ea = 7 MV/m, will be equipped with a frequency tuning system [1]. The rftuning during operation bases on the principle of a slight elastic deformation at both ends of the tank. This is causing a change in the gap width of the first and last accelerati...

Flow-through coaxial sample holder design for dielectric properties measurements from 1 to 350 MHz

—A system for measuring the dielectric properties of cereal grains from 1 to 350 MHz with a coaxial sample holder is presented. A signal-flow graph model was used to determine the permittivity of several polar alcohols from the full two-port S-parameter measurements. At the lowest frequencies 1-25 MHz where the phase measurements are less accurate, a lumped-parameter model was used to predict t...

Ultrahigh Frequency (100 MHz–300 MHz) Ultrasonic Transducers for Optical Resolution Medical Imagining

High resolution ultrasonic imaging requires high frequency wide band ultrasonic transducers, which produce short pulses and highly focused beam. However, currently the frequency of ultrasonic transducers is limited to below 100 MHz, mainly because of the challenge in precise control of fabrication parameters. This paper reports the design, fabrication, and characterization of sensitive broadban...
